Sophie Ellis-Bextor has lent her support to Borne, a medical research charity aiming to identify the causes of premature birth, on World Prematurity Day 2018.
The British singer/songwriter took to social media to raise awareness of the charity's work and encourage individuals to 'become a friend of Borne', posting 'I have now reached the same stage in my pregnancy as the time when I gave birth to my smallest premature baby... It was a scary time which is why I am proud to support @bornecharity... We should do everything we can to stop premature birth and give every baby the best shot at life by keeping them safely inside for nine months'.
